Microneedling (Dermalroller)
What is light microneedling for?
Microneedling is an aesthetic technique used to rejuvenate the skin and reduce scarring as well as helping with stretchmarks. It is also referred to as dermal needling and collagen induction therapy.
The technique uses fine needles fo varying lengths to create small 'trauma' to the skin. This trauma acts as a controlled injury which provokes the skin to regenerate and repair including the production of collagen.
This will ultimately improve the appearance of the treated area, resulting in a smoother, more uniform and tighter skin.

What does light microneedling involve?
Anaesthetic cream will be applied to the face for a period of 20-30 minutes before the procedure. The face will be uniformly treated with a roller or automated device which is composed of multiple microneedles. When these microneedles are applied to the skin uniformly, this minor injury provokes the skin to respond by creating more collagen and elastin which ultimately improves the overall texture and tone of the skin.
For the best, longer lasting results a course of 4, six weeks apart is recommended.
