WHAT IS MICRONEEDLING?

Microneedling is a non-surgical treatment that involves creating thousands of micro trauma to the skin at a dermal level, which in turn stimulates the skins healing response.  That means stimulating your own natural collagen (type A), elastin and new skin cells; therefore remodelling the skin at a deeper and surface level creating smooth, new skin. 

In addition Microneedling is used for the treatment of scarring including Acne Scarring.

WHAT DOES A SKINPEN MICRONEEDLING TREATMENT INVOLVE?

Anaesthetic cream will be applied to the face for a period of 20-30 minutes before the procedure. The area will be uniformly treated with the automated device at the required length.
